    One of these sits on my desk and the other on my bed side. I don’t do a lot of plugging and unplugging, maybe once a week. The USB ports have broken away from the housing and are unusable on one and it’s starting to happen on the other. Looked online and a lot of people have had this issue. I got these as a Christmas present but they were bought during Prime Day 2 years ago so despite less than 2 years of use they are out of warranty which is disappointing but for the price I would expect them to last longer than that personally.UPDATE TO ADD:Anker did end up replacing them. I did have to push but after politely expressing my disappointment and saying that I would be leaving this review, they did end up coming through and replacing it.

      Functionality isn't sacrificed either. With 8 different ways to charge your devices (Magnetic Qi front charger, 2 usb-c, 2 usb-a, and 3 120v wall outlets) I never have to go looking for an adapter to plug in any of my accessories. The convenience of the MagGo system means I never worry about my phone getting low since I typically just leave it on the charger when I'm not using it. Apple also just announced MagSafe will be available for other companies to use soon so this charger will most likely be compatible with future Android phones as well as iPhones.
      I've seen a few reviews regarding quality control issues. I personally have not experienced any of these issues however it does look like Anker reached out and fixed all the customer's units. I've found Anker's customer service to be second to none. Most of their products have an extended warranty and they've always been quick to communicate and resolve any issue I may have.
      The only negative I've had with this unit, which has been consistent across all of my MagGo accessories, is the charging pad began showing some brown spots after just a few days of use. These spots appeared quickly but never got worse. It's just cosmetic and doesn't bother me too much but I just found it interesting.
      I highly recommend the Anker 637 8-in1 MagGo Charging Station for anyone who wants a sleek multi port charging station with surge protection.

      The charging station has become an indispensable addition to my workstations and daily life. I ended up with 5 hubs placed around the house.

      The MagGo top is strong and angled well. The back houses traditional outlets and USB ports. This design makes it extremely convenient to charge various devices simultaneously without the hassle of searching for adapters or outlets. Also convenient to take Zoom calls while also being able to charge your device.

      My only issue is that one of the units did experience a minor issue with the back ports separating from the plastic casing. Despite this, a bit of jiggling was all it takes to realign the components and restore proper functionality to the USB port. While this incident was a minor inconvenience, it did not outweigh the overall positive experience I've had with the other units.

      These are more expensive than other hubs but I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for desktop charging hub to keep the desk organized. The material feels sturdy and the quality is nice.

      I would compare this more to a funny shaped power strip. It is a bit bigger than a baseball, but smaller than a softball. It definitely does not take up too much space on my nightstand, and it is easy to pack for traveling.

      If my iPad had dropped below 10% charge, other USB hubs would not fully charge the iPad overnight. This has no problem taking care of that with time to spare. I can plug in my CPAP, charge my phone, iPad, Apple watch, and several other devices without problem. It is especially helpful in a hotel room when there may be only one or two outlets beside the bed. Take this one device and you can leave all the “wall warts” power supplies at home.

      A great little charger, I would highly recommend it. Family members might find their own under the tree this Christmas.

      I haven’t seen any issues with output power, and the USB-C ports to deliver on the fast charging as promised. I’ve had about 4 things plugged in at once and didn't face any outward problems. I wouldn't plug in any more but not because I don't trust the station, only because it gets quite unruly with the wires.

      The actual magsafe charger was the dark horse for me. I didn't think too much about it because I wanted this for its form factor, but I slowly found myself using it more and more for my phone. Now I mostly go caseless or with magsafe case for my phone so I can easily plop it onto the charger when I need to. I will say the phone itself can get quite hot, but that's just the nature of wireless charging. The charging station itself has never given me temperature troubles.

      All in all I think this is a wonderful desktop replacement for something like a surge protector/power strip since it looks so unassuming but still provides tremendous value. It is on the pricier side, but I think it's definitely worth it (esp with the coupon). It would've been nice if the wireless charger was at a more level angle to charge other non-magsafe devices, but I understand the design choice and don't mind too much.

      The device works as advertised. It saves a lot of space on my desk and holds my phone at a good angle to use while charging. I would have given it five stars for value for the money if the $99 price were available in Canada, but $134 is too much for what is effectively a stylized power bar - so four stars it is.

      It works great, but it’s hard to find in the dark and then you rub your phone around until you feel it snap on. I’m pretty sure it’s already discontinued but it has some great features otherwise.
